2 antennas 1 scanner?

Here it goes! I want to listen to 800mhz and VHF in my car, everyone knows that antennas specific to those frequencies work best! I was wondering if there is a way too set up two antennas on my car (1 for 800mhz and other for VHF) and hook them both up too my scanner at the same time so I dont have to change them depending on what I want to listen too? Is this possible? Would this interfere with reception? What would I need to do this? Any suggestion or advice would help and would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
