2 meter on Alpine

Is there still a 2 meter machine on the Alpine Tower, I know it's in NJ, but covers a lot in NY.

If you're referring to 146.955, CTCSS 141.3, the repeater is located in Alpine, but it is not located at the Armstrong Tower.

You should've posted a third 70cm repeater, then you would've had nearly 2m worth of wavelength combined!

The correct Cal Sign for 442.900 MHz is K2FJ and it is full time C4FM, no analog emissions any longer. It is also NOT on the Armstrong Tower.

in the early 90's i parked near there with a frequency counter. it turned into a random number generator.

Unfortunately, it may never be back. The person who installed it and maintained it is now incapable of doing so. Not sure what’s going to happen now.

That's too bad. Maybe one of the LIDS can go up there and repair it like Rocky BOR or Chris TU.

The repeater is back operational as of a few days ago. Now they just got to keep the LIDS off of it. Especially the late night goons.
