great idea

i wish i could run a direct line using those..but i have really bad scanner audio hum when ran directly
so i use audio transformers to isolate the audio and it removes the hum THEN i use the adapter

i also like the style that has small pigtails - then i can tie a small knot in the pigtail so it doesnt get pulled apart
