2005 Chevy Impala. Civilian Version, converted to a police package... except the engine lol.

Communications:
YAESU FT-8900R :
QUADBAND 29/50/144/430 MHZ VHF/UHF FULL DUPLEX

Federal Signal Siren box,
Front visual equipment: Code 3 LED Stick and Headlights strobe package.
Rear visual equipment: Dual color Sho me LED units and tail light flashers

Since I dont like to pay someone to hook it all up I did front to rear myself. Its not rocket science, it just takes patience. Any comments or suggestions are welcomed!

Thanks for stopping by!

Nice set up, looks nice and clean. I love where you put the XM Roady. I never thought of doing that with mine, I may have to move it now!!

You know, with the 200 yards of wire they provide ( lol) there was is plenty of room to run the antenna from the trunk all the way to there. As you can see they are all concealed. Super easy to do.

Here on Long Island this guy around town has a crown vic with antennas, strobes and the lollie pop lights on the rear dash.Well he finaly got stoped because they thought something fishy...They took his scanner and strobes (he had red and our cops use red)and still pull him over and bust his balls.
They refer to him as the impersonator..

Like the car,hub covers, lights,ETC. I think I would have used a different style antenna, but thats your car so you can have the right to do it YOUR WAY! Stay Safe..........................

I have an 01' Impala LS, and I also happen to have the Yaesu FT-8900R quad-band radio with the remote-head kit, and also have the ROADY II for XM. LOL.. I too never considered mounting my above the rear-view mirror like that. Then again, I have a console right there which has a display for temp/compass/fuel stats/milage stats. But still I could mount the thing beside it. I just never thought about that.

I have my radio in the center console.

Nice set-up! Wish it was a Crown Vic though..lol

I wish it was a 94-96 B-Body. You know, when someone built a Real police car :D

Nice mounting of the XM. I still use the SkyFi II with a car kit and another at work, but I have a few Roady IIs I bought for almost nothing. I might convert over to see if i like it.

For me to know and may be you to find out LOL> Jking.Yeah I work with all agencies. No comment on that. So its all good all the way!
I didnt blur my radar detector. My buddy did for some reason... and its not like i get pulled over so im not even sure why i put it in there lol.
On the other side I did install all this myself, its just easier when something goes wrong i dont have to take it back to get it redone.
