2005 Ford Explorer EB

My 05 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer. Motorola CM300 UHF, Galls switchbox, Whelen siren, RS Pro 2055, 3 Whelen TIR6 Slimlighters--1 in windshield and 2 side by side in back window, Galls wig-wags, Whelen 90 watt strobe with a strobe in both front corner lights and 1 each in both taillights and back-up lights, and 2 Whelen TIR3 lights under front bumper. Antennas are bot Antenex brand, black, so they are harder to see. Rear one is the scanner, front one is UHF 3db 5/8.

Interesting choice with the UHF antenna, you usually see all or nothing (5db big whip or a 1/4 wave) so it's good to see something different and usable. How come you didn't mount the 2055 in the top spot of the console?


Either way, good job fitting that much in there

The original plan was to mount the 2055 in the top part of the console, however, after I got the console put in, it wouldn't fit. The 2055 is too wide to fit into the factory console, which is still in place below the Havis console. The Havis console simply goes over the factory setup. Hopefully soon I will be getting a ham radio to put in that spot.

Yeah, I forgot how those were setup. I had a G/F with a 2005 and knew I'd have to rip it out if I ever had one


Maybe you can find a junkyard console in good shape to modify so the 2055 fits, then just put your original one back in when you decide to sell/trade the trunk?
