Here is the 03-06 Havis Shield Center Console setup for the Chevy Tahoe, Suburban, Silverado. This is what I plan to do to my Silverado in the near future.

if you ask me the first setups are nice. i rather have vertical viewing then haveing radios at a angle. you could always swap the music and heating controls and put them at the bottom. Have the the radios on top.

Too many things can drop and break or scratch a radio. having them up and out of the way would be a no brainer. even spills can ruin your day.

The pictures show what I'd like to do, just a matter of figuring out how much to cut. I actually have the Havis console but took it out & want to get rid of it. If you're interested PM me & we can discuss it.

I don't have a full length console, but I used a double DIN plate with an aftermarket radio.

I'll get pictures after it stops raining.
