Yes, not unusual for South Texas. We get VHF Low Es from across the country.

Thats crazy, "45.080 Rescue to "east side of Lookout Mountain". Colorado" is Jefferson County's low VHF Fire channel. The tower is located on Lookout Mountain just west of Denver at about 7500 ft.
