The old Chowan 155.37 146.2 pl sheriff is being used as a backup to VIPER (I'll repost it back on the Chowan page later).

Event A4 is being used in other than Chowan County. Outlaw Farm Rd not sure of the exact area thats in.

See ya

Gotta run. Hurricane force winds blowing over 3 trees in my yard.

Thank you for confirming 56688 Marshall.

Event A1 is being used by USCG, NC HP, NC Nat Guard etc for fly over damage assessment all over the east coast (from what I am hearing). All flights appear to start from Kinston.

Thank you Jeff, I did later hear one of the units on Event A4 calling Bertie, but was not able to post anything (I was using a 12V motorcycle battery to run my Pro-2096 without any AC power).

Yesterday I posted 46208 as the Bertie FD doing hurricane ops. I looked up the TG in the databse and it listed as Pasquotank/Camden Tac 3.

I did the FD calling Bertie (as the dispachers callsign). They might have it programmed and were using it for the hurricane. I'll see if anything else comes up on it.

The Zone Controller still shows it as Pasq/Camden Tac 3 :D
They may have reallocated some TGID usage over the weekend but
it should be back to normal usage soon.

Thanks Marshall. I did verify Bertie FD and EMS are still dispaching their calls on VHF.

Most of the areas around here are without power still (I have power) so I am trackig down NC Power freqs and line crews. They are using voice freqs they must not routinely use anymore since they do most comms now via MDT.

See ya and 73

Question about 2 unlisted Viper Talk Groups on Martin Co. 868.5875. Thanks

I have a regular analog scanner that keeps picking up 2 VIPER talk groups I can't find in the RR database. I can only pick up the talk group id, not the traffic.

Talk Group 44672
Talk Group 44752

I was hoping maybe Richard in Chowan was close enough to find out who these are. Thanks to anyone that can help.

44672= Beaufort Co Sheriff
44752= Bertie Co Sheriff.

Bertie County Sheriff was already in the VIPER Database Listing.
I did go ahead and add Beaufort Counties Talkgroups (which were not yet listed) to the database.

I've been picking up traffic on #17200 and #17152 However, from all the talking I have heard, I have not heard a location that I can possibly pinpoint this ID to.

I also have traffic on #17104 and I heard references to locations in both Calabash, NC and Shallotte, NC off and on with this number.

If I'm not mistaken TG#17200 is the Brunswick Co Sheriff info channel. Down there last week & heard several license plates being run on it.

Yesterday I heard VIPER TG 63472 with Nightingale (Ambulance Helo owned by Sentara) calling rescue crews (EMS or FD - not sure as I did not hear anyone answer) at a LZ site when they were trying to respond to a call. I was in the Tyrrell County area and it was on the Columbia site. Also, I heard VIPER TG 17264 working a narcotics investigation in Windsor (Bertie County). Neither TG is in the database (I checked the latest version). The more counties switch over to VIPER, the more exciting things get.
