Father in law's car - wanted a simple scanner - out of the way.

Because he didn't want me drilling holes for the brackets I used Scotch All Weather Fasteners.

Antenna is a NMO on a right angle bracket 136-174 Motorola Style (I have a few hanging around)

Antenna is now connected as I did not have a Mini-UHF to BNC connector hanging around.

Sorry for the sideways shots - iPhone pics too lazy to rotate.

Hi gallagher073:

Neat, clean install, and it should do the job. Hope the Father-in-law appreciates you efforts and gets lots of enjoyment from it.

I enjoyed looking at it, but I have a permanent tilt to the left. LOL

I'm wondering if the external speaker interferes with the Gas Pedal at all.

Looks good, nice and simple.

It is a good way....

to mount a scanner. The BC350C lends itself to a side console mount very nicely..so that's how I mounted mine. It works well in this position and does not interfere with my legs either. See for yourself.

Well, I have to admit scanning with the BC350C is pretty simple since it only covers the conventional systems, but I do have a BCD396T that takes care of the Trunking systems and also gets the Digital voice systems.

Just what part of scanning is giving you trouble? There are plenty of knowledgeable members on here that can help out, so don't hesitate to ask.
