Very nice, did you hit the lottery? Or are you a stay a home dad. :)

I actually don't spend a lot of the family money on radios. I do some writing and that pretty much covers most of the radios, either by in-kind barter (I write this article you send me that scanner...) or the money goes to the radio fund.

I work 50 or so hours a week, but it is a great job that pays well and I love the work. I get to play with radios and computers all day at work and play with them at home.

Got the best wife in the world, she doesn't mind the radios (can't hear them either, she is deaf...) and doesn't complain when a new one shows up on the desk!

As always, Rich continues to set the bar high - not in quantity of equipment, but in keeping it all in a neat, well-organized, and professional layout.

Kudos.

Nice work as always Rich. Good to see the Elfa shelving holding up well. Looks great. Rich's setup was part of my inspiration to remodel my room last year. I'm close to showing off my 2010 version as well, complete with Elfa shelving and....the monolith....stay tuned!

Got any pics of how all your antennas are set up?
I am planning an antenna upgrade soon, to replace the coax and a couple of the antennas. I am also adding another multicoupler. I will post antenna farm pics after that is done, for now I have a dozen antennas in the attic.

Rich, is your attic on top of a one- or two-story house? What antennas do you use?

I have a two-story townhouse with a full attic. I have several Radio Shack versions of the Antenna Craft ST2, connected to Stridsberg multicouplers as my main scanner antennas. There are also a couple dedicated UHF and VHF antennas for two-ways and alert receivers as well as a couple HF antennas.
