Seems odd that this one was rec'd on 9/30 and granted on 10/1 (a Saturday) when other sites submitted earlier are still in pending status.

Does anyone know why they added a 2nd tower site at Bloomfield?
Will Springfield be moving to this system?

No. Springfields system will stay seperate, although there will be some linking from time to time

The database here shows Bloomfield VHF & Bloomfield 2. I just wondered why two separate sites are needed.

That makes good sense. I think I'll add it's one freq to the other system.
The Doniphan (Ripley County) and Bendavis (Texas County) sites have been licensed.

Have they turned off the 700 MHz tower at Sikeston? I haven't heard anything on it in a good while.
3 new sites have been applied for, in Troops H and B.

This tower comes on now & then. It simulcasts with the VHF system.

Why are they building towers here in Troop H if they haven't finished down south yet?!

They have been working on the one here in the Bootheel, but there's no freq's for it yet.

Anyone hearing any voice traffic on anything yet?? Seems to be going on schedule...

Sikeston DPS & Fire and Stoddard Co Ambulance are using the Sikeston tower full-time. The Ham guys are using the Bloomfield tower. That's all I hear for now.
Stoddard Co. EMS is using it? I thought it was South Scott County EMS that was on there.
