I heard several other comms as well but I wasn't able to determine their location.

31.10 PL 131.8 is a repeater that relays the MidState traffic from 33.70 PL 131.8 - this is the fire mutual aid network for northern Worcester County in Massachusetts - ( FYI - the Fitchburg FD dispatcher also serves as the MidState dispatcher )

33.98 PL 127.3 is District 14 southern Middlesex County Massachusetts fire mutual aid network - low band is actually patched from UHF (453.3875 and 471 something) - 46.36 should be carrying the D14 dispatcher also - ( the Ashland FD dispatcher serves as the D14 dispatcher )

33.74 - PL 192.8 - that is unknown - the address comes back to Lancaster Mass but the FCC ULS does not show them licensed for that freq - the ULS shows 33.74 for Orleans, Barre, Sudbury, and Fall River - Barre might be the only one still actively using the freq - none of them are adjacent to Lancaster

Low VHF in Ireland - November 15th 2011

Hi all,

best day yet on Low VHF this cycle - for me it was like going back ten years. I'm really surprised at how quick we are seeing MUF's approaching 6 metres.

The Missouri signals on 42 mhz were great today - so good that many were easy copy on a handheld scanner. Maine on 47.12 was shockingly strong way over S9 and full scale on the handheld - heres a recording, sounds like a local! : Maine 47.12 2011-11-15 1517.wav - File Shared from Box - Free Online File Storage
