Heads up on some more microwave maintenance in a little more than a half an hour from now.

Good Morning,

This notification is to advise of another Microwave Upgrade on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 1pm. The upgrade is on the path between the Training Academy and C & L. The outage will be for approximately 10 minutes. This outage will affect the entire state.

Thanks. I have put in the CC's from the database and it would lock on CC's with good signal strength but still no signals from NCHP. Was getting sporadic hits using ID Search from local areas, again mostly around Raleigh/Durham and Greensboro..

The following counties/agencies will be affected by an outage this morning:
Henderson, Polk, and NCSHP Troop G Communications

Outage Narrative:
In the process of making system upgrades, the VIPER team will be performing maintenance on a microwave path today, resulting in a temporary system outage.
This maintenance will occur starting at 1100 hrs and will last for approximately one (1) hour.

The following resources/sites will be affected:
Viper Sites:

Tryon Peak (Polk County)
Jumpoff Mountain (Henderson County)

MDN Sites:

Tryon Peak (Polk County)
Jumpoff Mountain (Henderson County)

NCSHP Resources:

Troop G Low Band 2 at Tryon Peak


Another notification shall be sent after maintenance is completed.

Wake goes rebanded

The Wake VIPER towers went silent on the 868 control channels about noon today. Everything that was on 868.15 this morning is now coming up on 853.9625. Test or permanent? Don't know.

Question from a PRO-2096 (RS) user, for reprogramming for the Wake VIPER rebanding. Read through the instructions. Do I need to:

A. Re-enter all frequencies, with 15mHz subtracted, AND
B. Enter the MOT 3600 CC Multi Table offset settings magic.

Or

Just B, which will auto-magically adjust A?
