For those in the Tucson area, look to the skies and tune your scanners to the 2015 Annual Heritage Flight Training Conference at Davis-Monthan AFB.

They are active on the following Air frequencies, all AM modulation:

118.500 - Air Boss
134.100 - A2A Formation Discrete
376.025 - F-22 Discrete
384.550 - F-16 Discrete

Support to these guys can be found on the normal base frequencies on the base TRS talk-groups. In addition, the Heritage Ops are on the following talk-groups, depending up which TRS you listen to:

TG 5952 (Older TRS)
TG 240 (P25 TRS)

I was on the flight line and was able to glean a little tech information on the participants:

Type Nickname Tail Code Tail Number Plane ID (Side) AAF # Other #
F-16C Fighting Falcon SW 91-0376
F-16C Fighting Falcon SW 93-0540
F-16D Fighting Falcon SW 91-468

P-51D-20-NA Mustang N7TF Double Trouble Two 44-63684
P-51K-10-NT Mustang NL98CF Fragile but Agile 44-12016

John, Met you briefly at this event - top row bleachers, Fri. AM. I am the old guy, we talked scanners, Tucson area freq. changes, and newer radio equipment. You mentioned Village Inn meetings for folks with similar interests. Would like to contact you for additional recommendations. Do you email? Clicked on your email link here, but said I was unauthorized. This forum/thread M.O. is foreign to me. Would appreciate a reply. Thanks, AES1121
