It's time again for the NC State Fair!
NOTE: To monitor the NCSHP Training Center or West Raleigh VIPER Site during the NC State Fair you must have a digital scanner capable of following 700Mhz Sites!!!
For those with scanners the following digital Statewide Event talkgroups on VIPER will be used for this years NC State Fair:
Statewide Events Echo 1 (TG 51971)= LE Interior Ops
Statewide Events Echo 2 (TG 51972)= EMS/Fire Ops
Statewide Events Echo 3 (TG 51973)= Dorton Arena
Statewide Events Hotel 2 (TG 51984)= Special Incident
Statewide Events Hotel 3 (TG 51985)= SHP Traffic Posts
And on the Wake County System the following will be used:
Wake PS Event 5 (Analog TG 26800) = Fairgrounds staff
NC Dept of Labor Ride Inspectors have been monitored using the callsign ROBERT-IDA (Ride Inspector).
An online feed of the State Fair this year is being broadcast on my RDU Public Safety Feed:
Raleigh Durham Int. Airport Public Safety and Airport Ops
On the feed I've also added Dept of Agriculture and State Fire Marshalls. After the fair the RDU feed will return.
Here's the link copy of a traffic "post" map from years past. I believe it should be pretty accurate for this year as well.
