Nothing too fancy here. 536HP is velcroed to the dash (very professional) with a Spectrumforce mini mag on the roof. And last but certainly not least, got my Proscan remote web server on my car's browser streaming another 536HP from my home office/radio room. Audio plays through my stereo system

You may say professional, but velcro can't be depended on hold anything in vehicle, since if your in an accident or even a hard stop the scanner will be projectile. This could add to your injuries or that of your passengers.

It could definitely become a deadly projectile in an accident.

Get rid of that velcro !!! Don't count on it to hold in an accident.. And the tape part will soon become undone due to extreme heat or cold.

I have to politely agree with the others here (well, except "gonefishn1" which I can only hope and assume was sarcasm) on the advice. I've seen many reports in forums and groups where people had things mounted like this (or to the windshield) and in a relatively minor accident (bad enough the airbags go off but not so bad that they would have been injured) they sustain bad injuries because when the airbags explode (because that's basically how they go off) the object flew at their face or arms at breakneck speed. Sorry, but that's just the facts and the others who have warned about it are right. Alas, it's your setup and your body/life to risk...unless you carry passengers, then it's negligence..

The remote session via your stereo's head is really cool, though!

Not only would a scanner mounted with velcro on top of the dash be a projectile during an accident, it would be very tempting for a criminal to break in and steal it. Anything mounted on top of the dash is just an easy target for theft.
