​I will be scheduling CARMA Saturday gatherings within the next few weeks for 2018. Because of the turnout we had on Saturday, and the willingness of the area membership wanting to get together, dates will be forthcoming for lunch meetings at Stevens Restaurant in Woodridge.
Please be advised that we may not necessarily be getting together on a 1st Saturday of the month. The meeting dates will be set up according to my schedule at work, which is sporadic at best on weekends.
I will run some tentative dates through the Stevens Restaurant management, and once confirmed, will post the upcoming meeting dates on the CARMA Chicago Yahoogroup, Facebook page, and Radio Reference Illinois specific group. I will also request that the Websmaster posts the dates on the Home Page website.
As far as Friday Nighters go, I am not going to be hosting them. I may attend if someone else sets up a date and hosts the event, however, our Club Secretary Roy N9INO will be relocating out of state, so if someone wants to step up to the plate and be a Friday Nighter host, please let me or Rich Carlson know. I have been informed that the upcoming November 3rd Friday Nighter at the O'Hare Oasis has already been taken care of by long-time CARMA member Bob Quinlan​. The rest of the year will be up either Bob, or whomever decides they wish to be the future host.
