Uniden 996XT for analog and SDS200 for digital and GPS for travel. Installed in a Jottodesk vehicle specific console for the '19/'20 Silverado/Sierra. I had both units mounted in the console but the angle made the screens difficult to see. I ended up reversing the face plates and modifying the brackets to mount them externally, facing upward. Not as clean as if they were mounted inside as intended, but I am happy with the overall look. 831188311983120831218312283123

Looks great! I have the equivalent Jotto Desk console in my '19 F-150, and the viewing angle is definitely not the best. What does the antenna setup look like?

Don't laugh, but I have two mag mounts that I keep under the back seat and only deploy if I am on a road trip. I have a Larsen NMO150/450/800 and a Laird Technologies ABSCANCS. Both are excellent antennas that serve me well with the local systems I monitor. The 800 systems in my area come in extremely well without even having to put them up on the roof. That works for me.

Another reason for my mag mounts are they are easy to care for when you need to take a 6' 5" pickup truck into a 6' 8" parking garage. If I have them up, I simply put them back under the seat before we enter. Like I said before, most of the time, I don't even need to have them up.

I can see what you mean about the angle. I have the Havis one that fits between the seat and dash and its angle it’s much better.

I had the Havis in my previous Silverados and loved it. This time I wanted a more integrated look. It looked great. I just couldn't see it. It may have worked if you could adjust the contrast on the SDS200, but you cant.

I really like the creative use of the space and the use of the jotto desk for your accessories and for the base mount. Very nice install.

Yes. Works perfectly for my Samsung phone. Stays in place better than anything else out there. Swivel feature on the belt clip makes it very versatile.

how did you attach the clip to the ram mount? I have been looking for something similar for my IPhone 11

I wondered the same. So I opened the pic and zoomed in. Looks like he’s got the belt clip zip tied to the end of the ram mount.

For the phone mount, I just used my Otterbox belt clip case and attached the belt clip part to the Ram mount with 3M double sided mounting tape (the good stuff). Then took 2 zip ties as extra security and cinched them down tight on both ends. Very clean and easy way to get a custom mount that fits the phone perfectly.

I may try that too.. I ended up using a Magnetic mic on a panavise mount and have the thin metal piece under the skin of the otter box. Seems to work fine for me so far. I have two HHCH mics for my XTVA and Astro Spectra W3 that use mag mic's already so I can move the mic into the phone's place if need be

That is a great idea too. Those Magnetic Mics have a super strong magnet.
