Post conversations for 2021 here.
And all these talk groups go with springfield 800 for springfield Pd and Greene county sheriff? AND if so Do I had these Talk groups to Troop D talk groups?Springfield 800 - Zone 4 Unidentified Talkgroups & Radio IDs
I've been able to capture 40 talkgroups and 5 radio IDs using UniTrunker. Most of these talkgroups were logged by radio affiliations and some with voice. All of these talkgroups and radio IDs are unidentified and will likely remain that way until the system goes live. The last logged activity was on 12/22. I expect more activity after the holidays (hopefully).
I'm posting these talkgroups in hopes that someone can help identify them when the system goes live. If there is a more appropriate format or location to post these, let me know and I'll edit this post.

Again, no agency is actively using this system right now. Based on what I've read, all agencies currently on the Springfield/Greene County/City Utilities 800mhz analog system will transition to the new digital system in early 2021.
As I stated in my post, ALL talkgroups are unidentified. When agencies begin to use the system after it goes live, we'll be able to identify which agency is on each talkgroup. But until then, nobody knows except for the radio techs. And alll theses talk groups go with springfield 800 for springfield Pd and Greene county? Thank you sir.
Do I had these talk groups to troop D Talk groups? I'm going to be in Springfield for 3 day and I will monitor Springfield 800As I stated in my post, ALL talkgroups are unidentified. When agencies begin to use the system after it goes live, we'll be able to identify which agency is on each talkgroup. But until then, nobody knows except for the radio techs.
I have Springfield 800 Site on my MOSWIN, do I need to add these Spfd Pd and Greene county talk group with my MOSWIN talk groups? Or just use ID search on MOSWINYou will likely hear little to no traffic on it. If you do, post back on this thread with your findings.
Thank you sir. Happy new Year....Just leave it on ID search.
Yes, on MOSWIN Zone 4 in Springfield. Cannot identify the RIDs yet.Hey send me any UIDs to me at fullerdavid63601@gmail.com and are those UIDs (RIDs) on the MOSWIN system ? Also of course Major THANKS.
Campbell reviewed the MOSWIN radio project with Council. Recently Christian County created a Christian County Coronavirus Relief Fund. The fund was created to distribute 10.4 million dollars the county received from the federal government through the CARES Act. The funds are intended to be used to provide aid to local relief in local responses during the COVID pandemic. A deficiency that has been identified at the Nixa Police department for communication. The law enforcement agencies in Christian County have agreed to move to a statewide radio system operated by the Department of Public Safety is an effective way to solve the communication problem. MOSWIN radio system is the preferred radio network for many public safety entities because it allows communication with multiple agencies in the state of Missouri. There is no cost to use the MOSWIN network, however the equipment and radios needed to be compatible with the system are very expensive. An estimation provided by Motorola indicate a cost of $550,619.00 for the project. If the funds are received and an audit deems the funds were not allocated correctly, they would have to be repaid to the CARES Act.
I hope they do after that whole ordeal with the DMR system several years ago.I read that too. I wouldn't be surprised if all of the county would switch.
In their July 20th meeting Christian County voted down using the Cares Act Funds to pay for the Sheriff's office and many small towns radio upgrades due to the fact it was probably going to be deemed inappropriate use of funds and the County would have to pay for the upgrades. So as far as I know they are still using DMR and not on MoSwin. Not sure how Nixa turned out.It appears that Ozark & Nixa in Christian County are ALL IN for MOSWIN! I just stumbled upon this resolution and notes from a city council meeting. I have no idea what this means for the county.. but I can't imagine they would be left out.
