Ok, thanks... monitored few radio transmissions G-1 TG105 off the Theodosia Site...and I get the impression no Troop Cars patrolling at night - say 11:00pm-8:00am. So maybe cutbacks, not enough Troopers/Cars available, no need for patrols in the area, etc. ...

That is fairly common practice amongst all the MSHP regions these days I believe, as most of the MVA's that occur around those hours you will hear Troop I respond to county comm centers asking if their deputies can handle it... unless it's a multiple vehicle incident on the interstate.

Can confirm your belief, because Troop D uses the same procedure ... however, often times I've monitored: Countyxxx response to Troop D - "My deputies are all tied up with other incidents"...

Shift change: Unknown for Troop G. Do know Troop D Dispatch calls for status checks around 1:00am...
Affiliation: Troop G - Possible. Seems strange all activity stops @ 12:59am and picks back up @ 5:58am...

I recently came across a list of 12 "Standard" MOSWIN 700 MHz SIte trunked frequency templates and decided to look at all the 700MHz sites and see which fits. I developed a rather lengthy spreadsheet with ALL the 700MHz sites and their freqs. Most of the newer sites "fit" into the 12 templated layouts, but many of the older ones do not.
A year or more ago several of the 700MH sites changed freqs - all those which did now fit in the templates.
A few thoughts:
- Any of the sites that are "non-standard" need to be reviewed locally to see if in fact, they have changed
- Some sites have "missing" freqs that would fill them in
- There are gaps between the 12 standard templated sites where national discrete channels fit.
- There were some early "allocation" of Missouri only 700MHz discrete channels - some of which now would be in a trunked template - are these still valid.

Take a look at the spreadsheet and let me know your thoughts: MOSWIN 700MH site template study

Thanks

You may want to make sure you are getting a decent signal. If not you may need an outdoor or directional as antenna.

I'd be using a SDS100 with either a whip or telescoping antenna in (Most likely) Granite City. Hoping we take the vacation down there next month.

Hey Steve

Did your new asthma medicine know you for a loop again? No big deal. Haven't herd from you for a couple days. Stay cool. Gonna be a hot few days.
