I can't help specifically with your question, but I can say that if and when you do make it to a race, stop by the Racing Radios trailer in the paddock. They will flash your radio for $5 or $10 as long as they aren't super busy. It's usually my first stop when I arrive at the first race of the season.

I'll program those into a favorites list and see what happens, and post a follow up.

During the Roar I didn't confirm any team communications, but my location usually only hears rooftop spotters, pits using an antenna on a tall mast, and the cars when they are up on the high banks. The weather on Saturday wasn't the best and I only monitored from 12:30 to 2:30p.

Track is hot for 24 hour practice and while my SDS200 is recording I jotted down some notes. Activity noted where you see a Tone added or * where I missed the tone. At this point I've not matched tones to drivers or cars, just noting activity. I will post another version of this hours from now when I have a chance to review the recordings.
