Yeah there is also a "Spanglish" that some people I work with use. for instance "Luncho" instead of Lonche or La comida.

I googled Jeremiah Rivera and quickly saw that with Jersey Village High School and since I was getting Ingram Ready Mix from San Antonio,
that's how I made the connection bro.

I also saw on the Henney military callsign list that NOMAD is callsign for ANG CH47's out of CT. To quote the Henney website
" NOMAD CH-47 CT ArNG Bradley ANGB CT " and that is exactly where he was headed, wish I could find a quick way to post the audio here it was awesome hearing that helo and then seeing him in real time on the ADSB map, where he was!

Picked up Spanish speakers on 26.7150MHz yesterday around 1800 hours local time. I searched the forums and saw it listed as a CB frequency. Also listed as the "Puerto Rico Superbowl Channel" I'm familiar with the Superbowl expression for CB'ers but I don't understand how this is a CB frequency.

Also if anyone speaks Spanish that can give me a rough translation, if they mention a location they are transmitting from, so I can add it to my logs that would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

33.700 KCB781 Barnstable county control test of the fire network today @ 9:15 am. One reply heard on 33.700 from Dukes county fire.
46.460 Suffolk County Fire low band. Southhold and Cutchogue, NY with WPZQ407 and KFF234 mentioned. The tones are numerous.

Barnstable County 33.700

Suffolk County 46.460

Unid Working Fire OPs on VHF low band

There were others with good signal, but it's the low quality audio that make them unintelligible.

Cool, thanks for updating your profile with your location!

Low band conditions here have still not been very good. I see reports from Missouri's state patrol but it's usually in the southwest part of the state like you heard.
Maybe two years ago, I had good times getting signals from your area as well as all over basically! I hope those type conditions return as low band skip can be fun!
