The WINRADIO continues to impress me. Both receivers are excellent performers for SWL under differing conditions. The R8600 also gives me excellent reception of the air bands. You can't go wrong with either receiver.
R30 vs R20? It's the R30 hands down. In some respects, I view the R30 as a portable version of the R8600.

Great setup and love the ergonomic, you can view all and type without break neck!!! How perform winradio compared to icom 8600 and other modern scanner/receiver? And icom R30 vs R20?
