I was down in Orlando this weekend and it seems I may be making the trip somewhat-regularly now. I understand that most LE along the I-95/I-4 corridor is encrypted now other than Seminole County.

I heard fairly regular traffic on Intercity (155.370) between FHP, Orlando PD, and Orange County Sheriff in the Orlando area, but nothing along thr 95 corridor. Is Orange county the last holdout for Intercity now?

Is there anything else along this corridor for LE interop that is in the clear? I heard random keyups on 8CALL90-8TAC94 all weekend and I know there is a FIO VHF repeater in Orlando, but didn't hear anything on it. Alao heard CBP assisting the locals that was about half in the clear.

Thanks!

you should keep all the 700/800 LE interop channels in a scan list.

that said, Osceola County -- also 100% enc for (edit: law enforcement / County / cities) -- has a LE interop TG 183 --- that is in the clear and is used for all major incidents that cross jurisdictions.... so that's a good one to keep an eye on.

That makes sense now, That's why Osceola Fd was always so quiet once in a while I would hear St. Cloud Fd but other than that Osceola was extremely quiet. Now I know why.

FYI: Not every county on I-4 is ENC, Polk & Hillsborough is still in the clear.

I heard a good amount of traffic on 155.370 MHz on my last visit to the Miami/Dade are a month or so ago.
