I got to dig up my list but still scan the federal band, during the last one it was a few fed freqs that were in the clear at times like the DOJ system and definitely the US State Department security freq. Even US Coast Guard Law enforcement was open and secure at times. I even caught the DHS HELO on one of the common federal freqs in analog!
Can you include some of those freqs? Are they all on the federal cook county page? I am aware and always monitor CG-COMM
I need to look for the list I thought I had it saved on my computer but don't. Most of the protest was on Inter op UHF 1 and 2 so Cook County Sheriff can monitor with CPD. Of course, CPD CW1 CW5 CW6 was very busy. Look under DHS and put in the common DOJ freqs. One became active with the DHS helo can't remember which one, but it was analog. Some of the ISP North Zone TG were active also. I will look for my list today. Scan everybody you never know
The catch of them all was when Bush II was in office and his daughters were attending Yale. They were out partying one Saturday night at a live entertainment location called "Toads Place'...the SS escorts were in the clear and at 0115hrs they started to grouse at length that the girls were not turning in for the night, etc.
