Do u have a way to verify the uhf dmr used by indycarJust spent the afternoon scanning.
Big big updates to the squelch tones on my page, live right now! All primary tones are confirmed! Secondary are from previous sources, and are not confirmed at this time.
2024 IndyCar Frequencies
All the car and driver frequencies you'll need for the 2024 IndyCar season!themann00.com
No... Regulations say that they can't. But I hear it too. I don't get it. I'm not sure if they are allowed to in the pits, during practice? Or what the deal is. I hear a driver clearly on the radio, and then suddenly BARRRRRP. Digital noise. out of nowhere. I really wish they didn't do it at all, or if they are allowed to, do it on a different frequency or something. It's loud, jarring, and I hate it when the scanner stops on it.Do u have a way to verify the uhf dmr used by indycar
The Indycar rules specify that all driver to team communications must be in unencrypted analog between 450.0000-470.0000 with a maximumNo... Regulations say that they can't. But I hear it too. I also assume that it's a private DMR that we will never have access to.![]()

I'm guessing alot of the ims track specific simplex and repeater analog will goto the new trunked track dmr. Lot of green updates to this system. The Indycar rules specify that all driver to team communications must be in unencrypted analog between 450.0000-470.0000 with a maximum
of 2 radios per race car stored in the nose in front of the driver feet. This analog only rule only applies to qualifying and race conditions. Interestingly, teams are allowed to use encrypted digital for driver to team communication during testing and practice.
Indycar officials have switched to MotoTRBO digital communication outside of the general Race Control analog rebroadcast on:
RACE CONTROL 468.8250 103.5 RACE CONTROL 467.0125 032
Brad is probably referring to one of the below (descriptions from my spreadsheet may be wrong) that are probably on digital now. It may or may not be encrypted where a digital scanner such as the Uniden SDS100 or BCD160DN may be able to listen.

I believe it's four dmr repeaters and not simplex l? Then I'm "guessing " specific talk groups or ids then are filtered and rebroadcast to analog. Sorta like how Nascar is doing. Oh yes the uhf dmr used by Indy series is indeed Enc.This is the dmr repeaters used by the officials which is in turn broadcast on analog
Weird observation... why is Daly the only one not using a digital squelch? Doubt it matters... but maybe it does? Since everyone else is using one? I think I saw some unconfirmed CTCSS codes on the secondary frequencies, maybe... but until Daly, 100% DCS/DPL codes being used.Tones for 500 only entries:
