Thread for the 2025 Kentucky Derby Festival, post frequencies, line-up, etc.

Events include Thunder Over Louisville, Great Steamboat Race, Kentucky Oaks, Kentucky Derby, etc.

I will start by posting an STA License:

As in previous years, expect Public Safety operations to be on the MetroSafe encrypted event channels.

Bearcom is also running the show for rental radios this year, good chance they will be have all the talk groups encrypted similar to the current Churchill Downs 800 Cap+ system configuration.

As in previous years, KSP will probably use some of their simplex channels for Car to Car/talk around, but have main operations on the MetroSafe system in conjunction with Metro Law Enforcement.

Still lots of clear comms to monitor. The Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation will more than likely have their deployable DMR repeater in use, itinerant vendor operations, broadcast operations, etc
