2026 Cleveland Airshow

Anyone have confirmation on which frequencies will be used this year for the Cleveland Air Show over labor day weekend? I am going up all four days and want to get things programmed up in my SDS-150.

Has anyone programed the SDS series with the air show frequencies?

I have my GRE500 and my TRX-1 one programed from last year.

The standard show freqs are listed in forum sections. Remember, we have the Blues and f-22 demo this year. Part of the orientation/practice flights includes comm checks and they could change freqs if local interference.

The Blue Angels are very consistent. Load the following (same as posted in the Airshow database) and you won't miss a thing:

You can also hear com-cart ground crew and spotter chatter on 139.8125 & 142.6125 NBFM if that floats your boat.

Golden Knights A/G will most likely be on 123.150. 123.475 is a possible alternate.

F 22 raptor demo team is usually on 277.700

I'd guess the Eagles (2 plane team) will use the show discrete, but we'll see.

Airboss tends to move their freq from year to year, though he was on 134.725 for both 2025 and 2024. Show discrete seems to change EVERY year...last year they were on 121.650, but I wouldn't make book that it will return there.

I'll be at practice on Friday and will post anything that turns up here.

The F-22 Raptor, call sign Raptor One was talking to CLE Hopkins twr on 124.5 at around noon today during the flyover

Due to the rain, the Airboss was only on the trailer from 3:00-5:00. Most of that time the airport was turned over to the Blue Angels, so he didn’t transmit enough for me to find the freq. N8PXZ was right about all the Blue Angel freqs. I didn’t read this before heading down to the airport today, so I can’t confirm the F22 freq. I will enter 277.7 in my scanner hopefully I can catch it over the weekend.

Does anyone who went today know why one of the Blue Angels boltered during their landing routine? I have never seen that before. He landed second and was slowing down when all of a sudden he lit the burners and took off again. It was the end of show, all six landing procedure.

I saw that too. A few of us were wondering the same thing as to why he did that. I heard all the BA traffic but didn't catch anything.
