My only log for today - Westchester County, NY Fire/EMS dispatch on 46.260 - about 35 miles north of my location. Full scale and nearly full-quieting. Bearcat 780XLT with a Radio Shack #20-176 groundplane. My equipment and antennas are fine, but skip remains elusive.

@marvinsuggs - We put a Sirio GPA lowband antenna (one of the ones I bought that I'd mentioned to you) up on our local 6m repeater today to replace the home brew thing that busted. We'll see how it goes! Got it all tuned in very nicely using a Bird AT-100.
