246 Squelch "stickin"

Everytime I adjust my volume my squelch gets turned as well. I have to pull up on the knob so the squelch knob stays put. What have you done to prevent this? Some lube?

This shouldn't happen unless maybe you bent the knob somehow. You should send it in for repair.

Its not bent, I take good care of my equiptment so I dont think it is from foul handling. What does it take to send it in, money wise included?

It sounds like you just need to have the knob replaced. Even if it bends just slightly both volume and squelch can turn. Does everytime you adjust your squelch the volume gets turned?

Just when I turn the volume the squelch will turn, but when I adjust the squelch the volume will remain the same.
