246T Battery Door

Any easy (and cheap) way to get a battery door for the 246? I've bought parts from Uniden before and they charge a fortune for shipping and duty (for a $0.75) part. I'm looking to sell the 246 but realize that it will be worth a lot less without the battery door. It's been missing for a while now.

I doubt it. Just submit to the Uniden Parts Twiki as mentioned in the sticky thread.

You could sell it for less and let the buyer get one I guess.:twisted:

Maybe get a new housing and keypad with the battery door, too?
I'd strongly prefer purchasing one with those spare parts. I have a 246
that's a 'little rough' and I'll have to recase it if I expect to get anything for it.
