246T question

Hi all
I got a 246 a few days ago, and the SYS and GRP numbers on the display do not show. The radio works great, but the system and group numbers don't light. What am I doing wrong?

What do you mean when you say not lighting? While scanning, the SYS number of the system being currently scanned will flash. When the scanner stops, the TGP number will flash.

Now this assumes that you have assigned quick keys to loaded systems and sub systems. If not, the scanner will just scan all the unassigned systems and none of the SYS or TGP numbers will show up.

System and Group key numbers don't show up if they aren't active or haven't been assigned.
