Hi guys, among the 200 mil-air freqs i listen to, a 1st just 5 minutes ago.. 255.550 ( which I know about the pirate thing ) just came in as fm with a PL of 69.3.... It was 3 quick key ups. I got the PL on the 2nd key-up.. 3rd confirmred. Pirate or new channel?

Your location... York County of what State or Province, Maine? There's not much reach on UHF for anyone very far from your location.

Yup, Maine. I got a ferret way up.. Best analog scanner to go with it--uniden 15X..

Just key-ups for about 10 seconds, barely 1 bar. They did it a few times after as well. No voices

I doubt it, actually Ive been hearing these key ups all week. Because of known piracy on that freq, I immediately push lock out. Today, the PL caught my eye. Its set at nfm with PL. Will monitor.
