Must be the reason it works so well!

I noticed the filters are like brick walls. Nothing gets by it if it's outside that 244-270 range.

Kinda overkill for satcom monitoring, but it's a pretty neat toy.

I agree, glad I didn't pay that much :). Also functions as a 30-512 amp which is a handy feature.

Im getting them weak but readable on the X-wing and a pre-amp. Any idea which sat is utilizing 268.440? I don't see that one on the Fltsat band plan list.

From your location its either the 103/105deg slot over the central US or the 22.5deg slot over the Atlantic ocean. Tilt your X-wing slightly to the south west or south east and see which one picks up better. The 103/105deg slot to the south west is well within the lobe of the X-wing but 22.5 is a bit low and tilting may improve things.

I have to throw the ladder up and adjust it a bit. Right now its pointed south east. Im getting the beacons on 250.450 and 250.550 at about an S8. Im also getting Skynet 5C with a really good signal as well.
