I have had these radios around here on this TG too:

880024
880014
880000
880038
880026
880028
880009

My logs show activity around here on 12/27 and 12/12, in the afternoon on both days.

Have no hits on those radioid's on any other talkgroup.

So, no idea...

Rick

I have seen the following RIDs affiliate with this TG:
880000
880001
880003
880006
880007
880009
880010
880011
880012
880013
880017
880019
880020
880021
880024
880028
880032
880035
880037
880039

Of this list, I have seen Affiliations with Gold 1, MAC 7 NE, and 2993.

On another note, I have been taking my Pro96Com Log files and importing them into a MySQL database. I have a stored procedure that allows me to call a TGID that looks up all of the RIDs that have affiliated with that TG and what other TGs those radios have affiliated with. Here are my results for 2992:

If anyone is familiar with MySQL and would like a copy of my DB structure please send me a PM.

I'm thinking some kind of drug or other task force from Denver PD on this one.

Denver PD on DTRS? Being heard in Ft Collins and Colorado Springs thinking more like another DEA TG or CBI TG, like they don't have enough already.

Yep, the Denver task forces (i.e. FRTF, MGTF, etc.) tend to go all over the place working cases and doing surveillance. Denver crime doesn't necessarily stay in or originate in Denver :) Morrison used to provide a reasonable amount of wide area coverage for them, but with the simulcast pulling everything in to the City/County, they're coverage-limited. They have used DTRS MAC talk groups in the past for surveillance ops that took them to Ft. Collins or the Springs, but it looks like they've wised up and secured their own talk group and (smartly) encrypted it.

The giveaway here is the 8xxxxxx radio IDs. Those are Denver's.

Another reason you are probably right is that they now have a lot of new Harris radios that can do it all-- so no reason to pack extra radios around.
