ARVADA – Two houses were severely damaged and one firefighter was injured when a fire began on Friday afternoon.
The Arvada Fire Department says the fire started just after 3 p.m. and was out by 4 p.m.
Two homes on Brentwood Street near 63rd Avenue caught fire and were both heavily damaged by the two-alarm blaze.
Arvada Fire says one firefighter was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, but his exact condition was not released.
A total of eight trucks and 30 firefighters were on the scene of the fire.
