3/8s CB MIRROR TO NMO

Hey all, this is my work truck I wouldn’t be able to run a new cable. Just wanna see if I can get this to work. It’s for a sds100 scanner, won’t be transmitting. that is a 3/8th female thread for a cb antenna, my question is can I get a 3/8th to 5/8s NMO adapter. . Any ideas are appreciated maybe a 3/8s male to 5/8s flare and then screw on the NMO adapter

I would think the female thread would be isolated from the ground/ mount meaning only connected to the center conductor of the coax.
