Copying NOAA wx info on 33.42, ID-ing w a loop of "This is the Orlando office of emergency management WQ...DC703..."
A check of the FCC Db shows that this call returns to a LP travellers info stn at 1650.

EDIT: QRN is now about 0%, and i can hear what sounds like an SSB sig under the automated NOAA info and ID loop...unk if this a IF mixing byproduct, but I doubt it as the NOAA bcst is related to the Orlando area.

Anyone else with this?

Below is an entry I made in my "catch all log" back in June. I wish I had an answer to the strange happenings on 33.42. Audio from a planning commission meeting was being played over and over that day with ID's as noted.

"33.4200 - CAPE CORAL EMERGENCY ADVISORY RADIO - 06/07/08 - 1500 EDT - RELAY WQTH907, 1610 PUBLIC INFO RADIO - REPLAY OF PLANING COMMISSION MEETING"

Anyone else have any ideas. I'm stumped.
