This is the channel where squads ask for local checks (10-70's), but who is H1? Example: H1 with a local check? What & who is H1? Thanks..

So those info channels are actually North and South, as with the dispatch channels?

Someone may want to submit a change to the database. It shows them as Duluth specific.

It was just south at first, I think some talkgroup changes are in the works right now. It's a good time to wildcard monitor. In the last few days I picked up almost 30 new talkgroups that are not in the database. Trying to ID them now. I heard on law 1 last night that DPD no longer has the encrypted "admin channel" Also I think some duluth city services are going live with ARMER soon. If anyone can ID some of these new talkgroups please post them to discuss.

37914 - grand lake fire was heard talking about removing a body from a house in proctor and following to funeral home. Not sure how to I'd this one yet.

36572 - only thing I have heard so far is someone say "Duluth 100"

I have that logged as well, when I compile my list i will post what I have learned about them. Also I got the info channel scoop today.

Info 1 was created on paper for law 1 south
Info 2 was created on paper for law 2 north
Dispatch staffing issues and other reasons it was decided to have 1 county wide info channel and use info 2 as a county wide "car to car" channel.

I noticed the other day that Duluth had a situation going on and the dispatcher told all other squads to use Law 4 (talkgroup 37804) which is listed in the database as Duluth PD 1.

I forgot about that database error, I think it might be a former name of the talkgroup. But for some time now its been Law 4.

Have you guys up in the Duluth and Iron Range area determines any official channels names? For example, is there anything that is:

-----SU LAW 1 or SU L MAIN 1

Is they are referring on the air to "LAW 4", then there must be a LAW 1, LAW 2, and LAW 3. That is not to say that every county is going to use the exact same names, but I think the patterns are pretty similar around the state.

There has been some previous discussion of talkgroup names here http://forums.radioreference.com/minnesota-radio-discussion-forum/248313-names-new-nobles-tgs.html I might have guessed that Saint Louis County would be SL or ST, but it looks like SL is STeele and ST is STearns. So in the case of Duluth Police, a talkgroup for them might be SU DU TAC. Also, a Duluth Fire talkgroup might be SU DU OPS 2.

St Louis county fleetmap has fire and EMS as SU-FE 1 for south and SU-FE 2 for north as their respective TG's
