380 MHz Federal Trunk System

I am unable to make a BC785D accept the channels on this system as
"trunked", always reverts to "conventional" .
This system is listed in the Calif. trunked systems as "Undentified
380 Federal " . with the frequencies listed as 385.xxxx and 386.xxxx.
Also, what would be the offset ?

There are no scanners currently available that will track 380 MHz systems.

And, AFAIK, all 380 MHz trunked systems are P25, so the 785 wouldn't track it, anyway. The upcoming BCD396T will, though.

When fully implemented, these systems will be encrypted, so forget trying to listen in, even with the new 396. Most people are digging into these systems using a PRO96 and a utility called PRO96Com; I don't know of anything equivalent for a Uniden.
