380 Mhz P25 System at NSA Midsouth

New P25 trunking system at NSA Midsouth ( formerly Naval Air Station, Memphis) is scheduled to go active June 21, 2009. The move to the new EOC on base is to be completed by Sunday. If move goes as scheduled, the long-awaited system will be up and running. All mobiles and MDT's have been installed since mid 2008.

What will you be monitoring it with? Will you be using the system on the job?

I will be monitoring with PRO 2096 and PRO 197. Have recently retired, but still have contacts on base in the EOC, also base fire and police.

As soon as I hear something, I will pass it along.
