I live in Colton Point MD ( St Mary's County ) and here recently the "old DNR channel" has been coming in strong with alot of activity. Does anyone have an idea who it could be ? Possibly a police channel.

dunno. I know lots of MSP stuff on 39.XX. I see 39.1 listed as Maryland State wi multiple uses so .22 is probly same.

39.22 was incorporated into the MSP band plan some years ago - presumably for interop with NRP....... although I've never before actually heard it used by MSP. What sort of activity are you hearing? Perhaps a coordinated activity involving NRP and MSP?
