396 issue

when scanning the radio will stop on a voice channel and will flash to the control channel every half second or so...any ideas how to stop this?????

to clarify...when it jumps back and forth I loose the voice and get dead air from the control channel

1) Turn off all priorities - priority, weather and CC.

2) Which trunked system, and what do you have it programmed as? (VHF, UHF, Motorola Type I? Type II? P25?)
