Welcome back guys... alright so when i am scanning my low band channels, my unit locks on to the frequency like they are transmitting. have tried to adjust the squeclh level and that hasnt helped anything. Like i have stated before i have a power supply problem, which i am sending to uniden shortly, so is there anything that you guys (or girls) can help me with or should i just have uniden look at it when it will be in the shop?

If you are in an area of high RF, you could be getting interference from in-band signals. Try turning on attenuation (or use a less efficient antenna)...in cases where high RF is swamping the radio this will both reduce interference and also make "real" transmissions come in better.
