396T firmware help please

I tried 3.0.2 once, and the radio stunk. I reloaded 1.20.13..something like that. Well, I've decided to give 3.0.2, or the latest, another chance based on ifo. I learned here. Problem, when I access the uniden page, the link to download the software is no working. I have the zip file of the firmware..with all the ESN's, keys..all that. How do I put the new firmware back into the radio and what settings should I use to improve P-25 reception?
