The 1.20.13 firmware load and all other firmware update instructions are at:

I'm sorry UPMAN, when I click on 396T firmware, it goes to the page for 3.0.2...any advice? When I loaded 3.0.2, I had good signal strenght on the meter, but no reception, virtually at all.
You cannot revert to 1.x after updating.
I did once before...and it worked fine. How come I can't hear anything with 3.0.2? It this common or unique? I was in downtown atlanta, on their P-25..doing ID search..and nada??? I really want to listen to rebanding. I did thice once before, reverted to 1.20.13 and it fixed it. I thought I had the file, but I can't find it. Is there a fix coming? I can't afford a new radio right now. I sent it to Uniden and they said nothing was wrong with it.
There is a problem with the setup of your scanner. I suggest you try to solve the real problem instead of going back and forth with firmware. It sounds like you quite possibly have an issue with rebanding and should ask for help with that.

A reader suggested that 3.0.2 worked great..it must be in my radio set-up..would you be willing to offer suggestions? I was in downtown Atlanta today with their P-25..Had full signal from control channels and doing an ID search..it should have been screaming. The radio does not have the reception it ove did..but when it works, the P-25 is crystal clear. I am a novice at this. I can never repay the favor, but your advice would be appreciated? How abaoy 3.0.0, or 3.0.01? did folks have trouble with that version?

According to the database frequencies, there should not be an issue with rebanding.
Atlanta Public Safety (Project 25) System Trunking System, Atlanta, Georgia - Scanner Frequencies
When creating a new system for this, make sure you slect 'MOT' then select 'P25'.
Enter the 'Red and Blue' freqs from the database above and start scanning with 'ID Search'
That should be all you have to do to monitor the system.

I am trying to listen to Rockdale County, and Fayette County. I'm ok with 3.0.2, and I'm ok with the radio being set wrong..I can goof. I've got it set on Man, 8, and FM. Does 3.0.0, or .1 have reception issues?
