Here is a pic of my so-so install using Lido 400EXP window mount. Speaker is under the seat.

Love the radio, just wish it was a bit more sensitive.CLTX11 said:Looks good, how do you like the 396?
My Pro-96 is pretty sensitive. I have to watch what I say around it or it starts crying...n4yek said:Love the radio, just wish it was a bit more sensitive.
My BCT-15 does the same thing - even sometimes I could even think it might be "waa waaaing" just a bit.kd6ecz said:My Pro-96 is pretty sensitive. I have to watch what I say around it or it starts crying...
I ordered it from Amateur Electronic Supply, Cost $20. It called Lido mount and the model is LM400EXProots said:whre did you get that holder? Also do you have more pics of the antenna outside and where do you get it out?
thx,

Mine came in yesterday. I placed it where it's partially in front of my AC vent. That ought to help a lot, I think... When parked, I remove it unless in the garage. Texas Summer's (and late Spring) are brutal on anything in direct sunlight. UghSAR2401 said:Nice mounting but I'd sure hate to have my radio exposed to the direct summer sun like that.
Yes, hadn't concealed it yet when I took the picture.majsingh said:looks good. what is that wire running in front of the gauge cluster? Speaker wire?
