396t Issue

My 396t will always switch back and forth to the cc on the P25 system. No priorities set. anyone know why?

I'm no expert but I would say because the scanner is automatically control channel only on P25 systems. Are you saying the control channel freq(s) are showing up on the display? Or are you hearing raw undecoded digital data?

Actually posting as seperate thread is more correct for a specific problem. Posting in the sticky just makes it bigger and bigger, especially for topics that have probably already been covered. As this original poster had asked this question elsewhere and that information was split off to a specific topic in the Uniden Forum, that makes this one a duplicate and I will close it.
