I programmed Orange Co, FL in my scanner putting all the CCs in. However when I got there, all the TGs disappeared and the scanner was in ID SEARCH mode and I was hearing plenty of stuff but it was annoying not knowing who or what it was. Once I left the County all the TGs reappeared. Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix that problem ?
Thanks

Press SCAN to get the scanner to switch to ID scan mode. Also, if you used the Uniden software to do the programming, there is an option to set the default mode per trunk system to either ID Search or ID Scan. The default is ID Search, so if you don't make sure to select ID Scan, the scanner will automatically go into ID Search mode when it finds the Control Channel.

Also, if you had TGs programmed in with Alpha Tags, you should have seen the tag if the scanner stopped on a programmed TG even if it was in ID Search mode.

It was pretty weird, becuase I already had most of the TGs as alfa tags. I'm still wondering what happenned. I didn't try troubleshooting too much becasu eI was there briefly only, but any help would be welcome. I was pretty sure I was in ID SCAN but I'll try again next time. THanks

Unless FUNC-5 was pressed which reverts back to all TGIDs.
