396XT Display

Can someone explain what this screen means? (Sorry for bad picture, hard to take close-up.) It is the display that comes up if you hit FUNC key while adjusting volume. This is a Motorola trunk site. The bottom two lines say:

ERR:--- 8 AUTO
T 1.35 1.57 1.80

The bottom numbers fluctuate as the person is talking.

That's because the CD instruction manual is HORRIBLE. Almost to the point of being useless. The online manual isn't any better IMHO.

Thankfully (for Unidens sake), many people with an "XT" upgraded from a "T", so they already know to operate it. I feel real sorry for others who are just jumping into an XT trying to figure how to program it.

Dan, I accidentally posted in a really old thread (too many tabs open at that time)... they weren't beating the dead horse, it was kind of new at the time they wrote it!
